Proportional Representation: Redeeming the Democratic Deficit

Inspired by political economics teacher, Professor Howard Doughty, after meeting him at the Fair Vote Canada York Region Chapter during Democracy Week, 2013 to submit a discussion paper to the international public sector journal to help explain our grassroots organization attempts at electoral reform.

The Public Sector Innovation Journal, Special Issue on Democracy, Volume 19, Issue 1, Discussion Paper #11, "Proportional Representation: Redeeming the Democratic Deficit" is my first published paper (other than local letters to the editor). It is intended to help people understand the concept of proportional representation and what a grassroots group like Fair Vote Canada is doing to help move towards electoral reform.
