Kevin Schofield urges protection of sacred islands at Chaudiere Falls in the Ottawa River

Guitar in hand, fresh from four days of sleeping on the ground at Victoria Island (Asinabka) in support of ceremonial fasters, Kevin Schofield takes a Cree lullaby and turns it into a song for activists. "It's your place, too," he says of the island. "And your great-grandchildren's. We need to do what our Elders tell us."
