Elections Ontario prints on virgin paper!!!

May 27, 2014

The email I just sent to Elections Ontario: (info@elections.on.ca)

I just received your flyer and noticed that it is not printed on recycled paper, no chlorine, etc...

I am very disappointed! And, I'm wondering why Elections Ontario chose to use virgin fibers and other chemicals for a product with such a limited life. This comment of course applies to other printed materials, manuals, ballots, etc.

Protection of the environment and future generations is the responsibility of each and every one of us; official organizations have a special responsibility to lead by example.

Can you please provide some explanation?

Thank you,

Manuel Costa
