I recently wrote to Hatem Yavuz regarding his business and the fur industry. I was pleasantly surprised when he didn't ignore me or tell me where to go. I suppose it's possible he had one if his cronies respond to my e-mail, but it didn't feel like that. In the end, is it possible that a kind word could change the mindset of another? We can only hope. The following is the e-mail thread between myself and Mr. Yavuz.

Dear Mr. Yavuz:
Your company is clearly worth a large fortune, so instead of dealing with the tarnished mark on the fur industry, why not consider investing in environmentally friendly, man made products. There is a huge demand for this, so much money to be made and you would be a world hero in the clothing industry. You have the money, power and intelligence to do this. Maybe it's time for a change.
