It is sad that I needed to talk about it.

Now, I understand why bigot people were more visible back in “good old” days. They were wearing their white robes, marking the front doors of synagogues with Swastika, burning down the native people’s lands. I got it. They were more visible. It was there. We had a chance to point them out and yet, identify them. They were there. But the most important question is, are they still here? What has changed? The words they use? Their attitudes? Do they just stop being racists?

Absolutely NOT.

They are still here. They are our neighbors. They are our friends. Our boss, our partners, our teachers, our servers. Do you want to know what has changed? Their level of visibility has changed. Their dress code has changed. Their profile has changed. Their language has changed.

Their ideas, their misogyny, their racism are still here.

“Back in good old days,” they tend to say I hate black people, now they do say, you are smart for a black guy.

They used to say; it is disgusting to be a homosexual, now they are more likely to say: If you are not going to try to fuck me, I am okay with you being gay.

Decades ago, the indigenous people were held in Residential schools; now they are expected to “get over it.”

NO. This is WRONG.

Let me explain you in details. There is a tweet from the account of @LodgerXLodger saying;

#barrontrump looks like a future rapist

— LodgerThanLife (@LodgerXLodger) January 21, 2017

We got it. We all know Donald Trump is racist, homophobic and misogynist. But, do we need to define his wrong actions, his evil personality by using his son as a tool? In other words, why we cannot directly say that Donald Trump is a bad person? A FUTURE RAPIST? What a rapist looks like? Can somebody define me the look of a rapist?

Stop doing it, NOW! He is just a little kid, probably overwhelmed about the whole situation that is going on in his family. Let him live his immaturity. He is just a KID.

On the other hand, let's look at this one;

Without immigrants, Trump would have no wives.

—Anonymous, Bristol protest sign (

Again, the same, vicious and misogynist point of view, language, and disrespect. Why do we need to mention Melania when we are talking about Trump’s actions? Do we really need to mention that she is also an immigrant? Is it a bad thing to be an immigrant? We are trying to counter attack by using the same stereotypes and poor language that Donald Trump uses. And this is NOT OKAY.

We do not need to do this. We are better than this. We must be better than this. And by “we” I mean everybody. Everybody who believes that inequality exists, who believes that their skin color is either an advantage or disadvantage in their lives, who got followed by a stranger when they are walking home late alone, who has been emotionally and/or financially abused by some others. And, who thinks that there is just one race and it is the human race. Everybody who thinks that diversity makes us more powerful, not weaker.

The language that we use in daily basis, inevitably we construct the hate by itself.

We do not need to mention someone's' gender, nationality, socially constructed race, son-daughter and/or wife-husband to decrease their credibility or even show that they are "bad" people.

We do not need to be like them to achieve our thoughts and beliefs. We need to be more smart and precise to show the BAD people that any kinds of hate are not allowed.
